Computational Neuroscience
Neurocomputing science primarily focuses on exploring the mathematical foundations of neural computation, addressing numerous intelligent application problems in science and engineering. Neurocomputing science studies the working mechanisms, organizational structures, and computational mechanisms of neural intelligent systems by simulating biological neural systems, particularly the intelligent activities of the human brain. It is the science of 'neuro' + 'computing'. Its goal is to study the brain's non-programmed, adaptive information processing capabilities and essence, exploring new mechanisms and pathways for information processing, thereby 'creating the brain' and achieving truly brain-like intelligence.
